Projek SAMA together with Bait Al Amanah (House of Trust) and Pergerakan Orang Wanita Empowerment and Revolution (POWER) conducted two workshops over two days in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on 7 & 8 October 2024 to propose enhancing women’s political representation in Sabah’s State Legislative Assembly or DUN. We saw participation and support from many CSO and political parties. We thank the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) for their support and the presence of HE Jodi Robinson, the High Commissioner-designate for her presence at the opening of our workshop.
