Dr. Abdul Razak Ahmad, Founding Director of Bait Al Amanah, emphasized the need for Malaysia and similar nations to actively influence global narratives and advocate for reforms in international institutions. Speaking at the "A Fairer World is Possible" forum, organized by the Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications, he highlighted that smaller nations like Gambia, South Africa, Turkiye, and Qatar have demonstrated that influence isn't solely determined by size. He urged Malaysia to adopt principled positions and take leadership roles where possible.

Dr. Abdul Razak also called for ASEAN to expand its focus beyond economic cooperation to include active participation in peace and humanitarian diplomacy. He proposed initiating a global education program targeting marginalized Muslim communities, particularly in regions like Palestine and sub-Saharan Africa, emphasizing that lasting impact begins with education, supported by available digital tools and the necessary political will.

These insights were shared during the "A Fairer World is Possible" forum, which brought together prominent Malaysian thought leaders, including Universiti Utara Malaysia Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohd Azizuddin Mohd Sani and International Islamic University Malaysia Assistant Professor Dr. Mohd Iqbal Abdul Wahab. The forum focused on addressing the limitations of the current global system and explored ways for countries like Malaysia to contribute to a more just and inclusive world order.
