MASA UNTUK MENGEMBALIKAN DEMOKRASI DAN TADBIR URUS YANG BAIK

Versi Bahasa Malaysia

English Version

TIME TO RESTORE DEMOCRACY AND GOOD GOVERNANCE.

The whole nation watches in shock and disgust as the perplexing deceit of Parliament by the executives on the repeal of Emergency Ordinance unravels.

This is a shameless act that should not be forgiven and never be forgotten. It is a betrayal of the highest order and shows the extent the privileged people in power would go to bend the law, besmirch the constitution, side-line the Royal Institution and push the nation deep into peril.

By ignoring the due process of Parliament – especially in matters of significant consequence such as the repeal of the Emergency Ordinance – the Prime Minister and his cabinet has essentially undermined our democracy and abandoned their oath of office.

Our future and democracy have been disgraced, stepped on and stolen by the very people that have sworn to protect and faithfully serve the nation to the best of their ability.

Bait Al Amanah calls upon everyone involved to take responsibility, apologize wholeheartedly to the Nation, and gracefully make an exit from Government, so that we as a country could move on.

We cannot continue to be led by this Government anymore. Malaysia deserves better.
